Tunisia – Saïed: all Tunisians know who is behind shortages

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, met this evening with prime minister Najla Bouden who was accompanied by the Minister of Commerce and the Director General of Customs.

The meeting addressed the reasons for the loss or scarcity of a number of foodstuffs, which among other reasons led to this phenomenon that Tunisia did not know even when major economic crises were witnessed in the past decades.

The President of the Republic emphasised that all the concerned authorities in the state must assume their responsibilities, pointing out the necessity to form a strategic stock to abort the desperate attempts to fabricate crises.
