Tunisia-Saied: Back then, the union work was a pure and national work

At the conclusion of the ceremony to commemorate the 69th anniversary of the assassination of union leader Farhat Hached which took place at the martyr’s burial place in Kasbah, president of the republic Kais Saied stressed: “that at the time, the union work was pure and national, which intervened only for the profit of the fatherland ”he assured.
The head of state emphasised that Tunisian trade unionists have made significant efforts for the national interest of the country.
Prime minister Najla Bouden, the Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), Noureddine Tabboubi, as well as members of Hached’s family took part in the ceremony.
