Tunisia-Saïed calls Taboubi and Majoul to quickly reach an agreement with the government

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed, this Monday, September 12, 2022, the secretary general of the Tunisian Labor General Union (UGTT), Noureddine Taboubi and the President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and crafts (UTICA) Samir Majoul.

The head of the state, underscored, on this occasion, the necessity to come out “of this situation which aims at the institutions of the State and the Nation”, and recollected the role of the UGTT and the UTICA to reach an agreement with the government as soon as possible.

The meeting approached a certain number of subjects related to the global crisis and its impact on the situation in Tunisia, there was also discussion of the shortage of essential products that the country knows “although they are available”, the head of the state accused parties of monopolizing these products to ignite the social situation.
