The President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, regarded, during the Council of Ministers, held this Saturday, January 15, that certain parties press on the fact that January 14 is the anniversary of the revolution despite his decision to decree December 17 as the anniversary of the revolution.
“I notice that it is paradoxical and humiliating that some questionable parties in Tunisia and abroad want to inflict the dates of our national and religious holidays on us,” he added. Kais emphasised that he rejects the falsification of history and that the feast of the revolution is, December 17, when the Tunisian people rose up.
