Tunisia-Saïed denounces a “conspiracy against state security”

President of the Republic, Kais Saîed, stated this Wednesday, December 28, 2022, that what is occurring, currently, in Tunisia rises to the rank of a conspiracy against the interior and external security of the state.

Speaking, during a meeting with prime minister Najla Bouden, the Ministers of Justice, the Interior and Defense in addition to executives from the Ministry of the Interior, Saïed accused those he described as “corrupt to the marrow”, to desire to strike the security of the state, specifying that this situation can no longer last.

“These people, implicated in the denigration of the State and its symbols, must be judged, within the framework of the law,” he said.

In this context, he reiterated the significance of applying the law to all, in particular the parties he cited and, with the purpose of preserving the State and protecting the people.
