Tunisia-Saïed discusses decree on penal conciliation and article 96

President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, convened a meeting on Tuesday afternoon with Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani and the Ministers of Justice and Finance, Leïla Jaffel and Sihem Boughdiri Namsia.

The meeting focused on the discussion of two bills: the amendment of the decree related to criminal conciliation and article 96 of the Penal Code. According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, these two bills will be subjected to review by the Council of Ministers before being presented to the House of People’s Representatives.
