Tunisia-Saïed examines preparations for legislative elections with Bouden

President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, received, this Monday, October 3, 2022, prime minister Najla Bouden.

The meeting concentrated on government activity, the Presidency of the Republic announced in a statement.

The Head of State insisted that each state institution needs to play its role entirely and listen to citizens in all areas.

He also called to ensure the supply of markets and to put an end to the shortages of certain products that fade, to be subsequently put back on sale, at various prices.

The meeting also focused on the FIDA institution which must play the role intended for it.

The preparations for the legislative elections were, for their part, among the subjects cited at this meeting. “The people must express their will freely and far from all attempts at diversion,” noted the President of the Republic, who recollected that the decree organizing the elections, imposes sanctions on the refractories and that we must pay attention to funding which seeks to buy voices, as has been the case before
