President of the Republic, Kais Saied, welcomed, on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Carthage Palace, Mr Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, who handed over to the Head of State a written message sent by His Excellency the Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The President of the Republic welcomed several initiatives included in this message, notably the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty.
The President of the Republic assessed that opening the Tunisian commercial and consular office in Sao Paulo would strengthen our country’s ties with Brazil in many areas, notably economic, commercial and cultural.
On another level, the Head of State emphasised the role of the heads of diplomatic and consular missions in informing Tunisians abroad and the necessity for them to adhere to total neutrality to facilitate the participation of voters in the presidential elections scheduled for October 6.
