Tunisie Numérique correspondent in the region reported that Salat Al Istisqa (rain prayer) was performed this Friday, November 17, in the 95 mosques in the governorate of Beja, due to the persisting drought.
The prayer was performed in the presence of a large number of worshipers who prayed for raindrops to ward off drought and overcome the current crisis facing Tunisia, according to the same source.
