The Democratic Current Party, MP Samia Abbou foretold that Ennahda will ally itself with Heart of Tunisia after the presidential elections.
In a statement to Shems FM Abbou stated that the alliance of the two parties is a foregone conclusion despite Ennahda denial, she exclaimed that alliances are aimed to shield the Islamic party.
She further affirmed the unlikelihood of an allice between the democratic current and Ennahda due to differences in political philosophies with the current being Social democratic while the Islamist party is more liberal
