Tunisia: Samira Chaouachi accuses Abir Moussi of assaulting Minister of Higher Education

The parliament first Vice-President Samira Chaouachi condemned the protests by PDL MPs and the lifting of slogans against ministers present at today’s hearing judging these practices to be “unacceptable”.

Samira Chaouachi further accused PDL President Abir Moussi of verbally assaulting Education Minister Olfa Ben Ouda when she accessed the room with a megaphone and approached the latter.

The vice-president saw herself forced to postpone the meeting for the second time in a row after the PDL MPs boycotted the plenary session.
