Tunisia-School Return: More than 1,200 schools without drinking water

In a statement given to national radio yesterday, the coordinator of the Tunisian Water Observatory Ala Marzouki announced that 1,200 schools without drinking water have been registered this year.
In answer to statements from officials who confirmed the supply of drinking water to these educational institutions in February 2021, Marzouki revealed that this information is incorrect. He added that the debts of the water associations were principally the cause of the cut-off of running water.
