The Ministry of Education announced in an official statement the arrest of Secretary-General of the Education Ministry on corruption charges when he was working as director-general of the department’s staff housing Office,
The Minister has requested an inquiry into a number of suspicious incidents at the Staff Housing Office of the Education Ministry, the ministry asserted that the case has been transferred to hand of the judiciary.
The Ministry, which commits to law implementation, upholds the confidentiality of the judicial investigation, added it is also ready to collaborate with the judicial authorities.
