Tunisia- Seifeddine Makhlouf: Opening of an office for Organisation internationale de la Francophonie is unconstitutional

Al Karama Coalition secretary-general Seifeddine Makhlouf has challenged the constitutionality of the draft law for the establishment of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie “OIF ” regional office in Tunis.

This objection appears to be justified by the fact that such convention will grant the institution “an extraordinary and abusive immunity, even more, great than MPs, judges and the president of the republic”, according to a publication by Seif Eddine Makhlouf on his official page.

It is noted that the parliament ratified, Tuesday evening, the organic bill N ° 57/2019 relating to the establishment of OIF regional office in Tunis.
