Tunisia-Sellaouti: No death linked to Omicron variant in the school environment

The Minister of Education, Fathi Sellaouti, revealed that the members of the scientific committee confirmed the rapid spread of the Omicron strain without registering any dangerous cases.

Sellaouti further assessed that the school community has not recorded any cases of death or hospitalization following infection by this variant.
He pointed out that the committee recommended treating this strain, like the flu, by insisting on the necessity to consult the opinions of specialists and not to obey people who do not understand the medical field.
