Tunisia-Senegal is Tunisia’s leading trading partner in Sub-Saharan Africa

Senegal is Tunisia’s leading trade partner in Sub-Saharan Africa over the first nine months of 2023, with a trading volume that surpassed 70 million euros (around 46 billion FCFA), the Tunisian ambassador in Dakar, Rachid Saidani during a courtesy visit to the Senegalese Press Agency (APS).

“For the first nine months this year, Senegal is Tunisia’s leading partner in Sub-Saharan Africa given the volumes of trade between the two countries,” adds the APS.

Nevertheless, adds the same source, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Tunisia to Senegal, Gambia, Cabo Verde and Guinea-Bissau assessed that this partnership does not appear to reflect the excellent relations of fraternity between the two countries which want, according to him, to cooperate more.
