Tunisia-Sfax: 2 killed in train-car collision

A 47-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were killed in a train-car collision in Sfax, the TAP reported.

Both victims were killed on the scene when their car crashed with a train at a level crossing in Sidi Salah region in Sakiet Ezzit (Sfax governorate).

According to regional civil protection director Mourad El Mechri, the accident befell due to the driver’s negligence. He added in a statement to TAP, that the bodies of the two deceased had been taken to the forensic medicine service of the Habib Bourguiba University Hospital in Sfax.
