Tunisia-Sfax: 42 Egyptian migrants evacuated by navy army

The Ministry of National Defense announced that a maritime unit of the navy army saved 42 Egyptian migrants on Sunday, which managed to board the “Ashtart” oil terminal in the southeast of Kerkennah from Sfax.

These migrants reported having sailed with a vessel from the Libyan coasts, on the night of August 12 to 13, in an try to clandestinely cross the Tunisian borders towards the European coasts.

According to the same source, they were taken to Ben Guerdane fishing port where they were given to the National Guard units to take the required measures against them.
