Tunisia-Sfax: Arrest of 20 individuals after attack on security forces

The security authorities in Sfax have apprehended twenty people , all nationals of sub-Saharan African countries, suspected of being implicated in the attack against National Guard agents and the burning of their security vehicle, which occurred last Friday in Al Amra , in the governorate of Sfax,  Hichem Ben Ayed, the official spokesperson for the Sfax court of first instance reported

It should be recalled that a group of people from Sahel countries assailed security agents last Friday, setting their vehicle on fire, in retaliation for the destruction by the National Guard of metal structures planned to be used for illegal crossing maritime borders. Following this incident, the Central Counter-Terrorism Brigade in Ben Arous was tasked with investigating this matter.
