Employees of El Bostan municipality in Sfax declined to accept any social assistance during Eid al-Fitr.
This move came after the mayor had forced the employees to take photos, showing them in the process of receiving this aid.
The employees in question justified their refusal by the fact that these photos, which will be distributed on the page of the municipality, are designed to assist political agendas, emphasising that it is a kind of humiliation that they categorically refuse.
