Tunisia- Sfax: STEG agents begins open strike

STEG agents in Sfax today started an open strike against the decline of their financial situation as opposed to other sectors, particularly education. They displayed their support for the demands of the engineers of STEG following the failure of the government authorities to comply with the deal reached on February 16 which provides for giving engineers of public companies the same bonuses granted to those of the public service.
Demonstrators told Tunisie Numérique that their wage is no longer enough for them to live properly, revealing that the salary increases they have managed to achieve in recent years are insignificant.
