Tunisia- Sheikhs of Zitouna call for boycotting French products

The sheikhs of the Zitouna mosque called on the Muslim peoples to “boycott French goods until the French government presents excuses for its transgressions and repeated attacks against Muslims,” in a statement made public, Wednesday 28 October 2020.

Cited by the Turkish Anadolu agency, the press release declares that the sheikhs of the Zitouna mosque “condemned with the greatest firmness the serious attack on the sacred symbols of Islam and condemned the insulting remarks of the French president and his government towards Muslims, through the publication of caricatures of the prophet Mohamed ”.
