Tunisia-Shems FM lifts sit-in

The Sit-in carried out by Shems FM journalists was lifted today after 38 days of protests.
The decision was adopted after a meeting between government officials and the social side, at which Finance Minister Ali Kooli declared the acceptance of Hanen Ftouhi’s resignation as CEO.
It was likewise agreed to settle the divestiture process within a month from today and to get solutions to technical issues that the radio has been encountering for some time.
The government side additionally announced at the meeting that Al Karama Holding has promised to pay its debts to Shems FM, according to the same source.
