Tunisia-Shortage of mineral water in supermarkets – A maximum of two packs per customer

The president of the National Chamber of Hypermarkets, Hedi Bakour, declared the shortage of mineral water is generated by the producers of mineral water and not the large retail outlets.

He added that the stock of these mineral water supermarkets would only meet two days’ consumption.

Hedi Bakour said that given the crisis in this sector, supermarkets have decided to restrict purchases to “two packs of six bottles” per customer. He explained that this decision applies to everyone including those who work in supermarkets
