Tunisia-Sihem Nemsia: As of October 30, Tunisia has repaid 81% of external debt service

Finance Minister Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia told the parliament today that Tunisia managed, as of October 30, 2023, to repay 81% of the external debt service, or 16,866 million dinars out of a total of 20,810 million dinars. The minister likewise declared that Tunisia reimbursed an amount of 19 million dinars (530 million euros) during the day of October 30.

The minister was talking during the plenary session devoted to the 2023 amending finance law which is currently taking place at the House of People’s Representatives .
