The economic control services under the governorate of Siliana recorded, from July 1 to August 7, 2022, 223 economic violations following 2,600 inspection visits carried out.
The regional director of trade in Siliana, Kais Yazidi told TAP that the economic offences specifically concern fruit and vegetable, sugar, oil and poultry sectors.
Control units seized during the inspection campaigns 65 kilos of sugar, 300 boxes of cigarettes, 30 tons of cement, and 324 litres of subsidized oil.
