Tunisia-Siliana: Seizure of 15.3 tonnes of construction iron

The economic control services of the Regional Directorate of Commerce of the governorate of Siliana took 15.3 tons of iron bars in Siliana, stored in a warehouse for speculative purposes. Legal proceedings have been taken against its owner,  Regional Director of Commerce of Siliana, Mohamed Jabeur Hariz told the TAP.

Hariz announced that the same services have stepped up their campaigns, in order to counter the practices of traders (especially wholesalers who stock huge quantities of this material for speculative purposes). Adding that since August 21, more than 30 operations have been conducted in the iron distribution routes in the various regions of the governorate.
