The Tunisian National Railways Company stated this Monday, September 7, 2020, that a train of one of the Sahel trains connecting Sousse, Bab Jedid, Monastir and Mahdia derailed at around 9:47 a.m. The accident did not cause damage according to the same statement.
The train was put back on track at around 2 p.m. and without causing traffic congestion for other trains.
The company, however, indicated that the investigation continues to determine the causes of this accident and its circumstances.
