The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) called this Saturday, September 26, the media to uphold the health protocol and to favour telework, according to the specificities of each establishment.
This call comes after of the increase in recent days in the number of cases of coronavirus infection, according to the reports provided by the Ministry of Health, explained the SNJT in a press release posted on its Facebook page.
On another level, the Union also called to take into consideration the specificity of the current economic situation and not to infringe the economic and social rights of journalists.
The Union invited its members to inform the journalists’ organization of any suspected case of COVID-19 or any problem related to compliance with the health protocol.
