Tunisia – SNJT calls on Kaïs Saïed to clarify his intentions towards the press and the media

The vice president of the SNJT, Amira Mohamed, on Friday called on the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed to explain his intentions towards the press and the media, adding that his terms when declaring the exceptional measures, in connection with the “regulation of the press and the media” raises fears of the return of the powerful control of the press and the single voice for a single master.

All the more, added Amira, that the Presidency of the Republic has never taken care of its relationships with the press and its organs, in terms of dissemination of information.
