Tunisia-SNJT demonstration: Sector professionals threaten to boycott legislative elections

In reply to the appeal launched by the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) and the General Information Union, several reporters gathered today at  Kasbah to put forward a number of demands.

Professionals in the sector have called on the authorities to urgently deal with the confiscated media case, including those of “Shems Fm” and “Dar Assabeh”.

In the same vein, they condemned the policy adopted by the government which seeks to “liquidate” the media while threatening not to cover the legislative elections.
