Tunisia-SNJT denounces attack on Cameraman in parliament

President of the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT), Mohamed Yassine Jlassi commented on the attack on the national television cameraman by Ennahdha MP Maher Medhioub during today’s plenary session.

Jlassi condemned the violence against the cameraman and stated these actions are inexcusable. According to him, the house of the Representatives of the People has been reached on many occasions by the union to put an end to such actions.

“All MPs have become directors … they are demanding cameramen how and from what angle to film … even the right to reach information has been obscured,” he said.
