The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) today condemned the campaigns of racist microaggressions against Journal Achaab News and Radio Diwan FM reporter Khalifa Chouchène following his opinions and remarks on the general situation in the country.
“Khalifa Chouchène was the target of these attacks based on her skin colour. These orchestrated discriminatory microaggressions undermine human dignity,” highlights the SJNT, which voiced its solidarity with journalist Khalifa Chouchène and denounced these denigration campaigns.
The SNJT also cautioned against the continuation of these behaviours as well as the consequences which could harm their bodily integrity.
