The ministry of health has taken several preventative measures to fight Coronavirus, affirmed interim health minster Sonia Ben Cheikh in an official declaration to Tunisie Numérique.
The ministry has formed a 24-hour crisis cell and forced control measures on border crossings and airport by examining all travellers from other countries, stated Cheikh. She pointed out that the ministry also worked on awareness campaigns against the virus.
Minster Cheikh further reinforced that the health ministery has not registered any coronavirus cases in Tunisia and among Passengers arriving from China.She indicated that travellers are supervised upon their return to assure their health safety.
She finally emphasised the need for not being diverted by rumours and only rely on information from the health ministry.
