Tunisia – Sonia Dahmani on hunger strike in prison

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, lawyer Dalila Mosaddek reported that journalist and lawyer Sonia Dahmani had started a brutal hunger strike since the day before yesterday, Monday, to protest the fact that she and her family are being denied full visitation rights.

In a message posted on her Facebook account, Dalila Mosaddek voiced her support for her “colleague, friend, and activist Sonia Dahmani,” adding: “Sonia’s abuse has become a daily reality, and this situation cannot continue in suspicious silence.”

She called for “the launch of a campaign in support of journalist and lawyer Sonia Dahmani
