Tunisia – Sousse – Khezama: Discovery of corpse washed up by sea

The prosecution at the Sousse Court of First Instance in Tunisia was informed on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, about the finding of a corpse in the tourist area of Khezama in Sousse, likely to have been washed ashore by the sea. An eyewitness reported that a boat carrying 18 people engaged in irregular migration had left this area. In response, the public prosecutor has initiated an inquiry, and the investigating judge has assigned a judicial delegation to a specialized security team to carry out the necessary inquiries.
