Tunisia-State Litigation Department filed a lawsuit against Cactus Prod. and Prod Caméléon

The State Litigation Department filed a charge against the judicial representative of Cactus Prod, the responsible manager of “Prod Caméléon” and any other person speculated of official corruption, in the visible light of a investigative report provided by the Finance General Control, reported the TAP Agency.
The report was based on the record compiled by three experts and approved by the Tunis Court of First Instance in 2015.
The State Litigation (DGCE) initiated judicial procedures after promptly getting the case file from the National Commission for Management of Confiscated Assets and Funds, affirmed a DGCE statement, a copy of which was received by TAP.
The statement carefully noted that the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Judicial Economic and Financial Division commanded to launch an inquiry, after which it was determined to hold TV host and producer Sami Fehri, the insolvency administrator of the company, as well as its manager into custody.
The State Litigation Officer will inform the public opinion of any new developments in the case, it added.
