Tunisia-Stop of train services to and from Gabés

The Tunisian National Railways Company (SNCFT) announced that it made, from August 20, changes to the level of train services from and to the governorate of Gabés via the cancellation of some of their replacements by the Sfax station.

This measure is part of the prevention against the spread of Covid-19, the company added, in a statement released Thursday evening.

It affirmed that it is monitoring the epidemiological situation in Gabés and that it will inform users of any other changes in train schedules.

Adjustments to train times between Tunis and Gabés stations:
-From August 20: Sfax station is now the terminus for trains leaving Tunis at 9.45 p.m., instead of Gabés.
-From August 21: Sfax will be the final arrival station for trains leaving Tunis station at 5.45 am, 1.05 pm and 9.45 pm.

Sfax will be the departure station for trains heading to Tunis station at 12:05 am, 11:15 am and 3:15 pm, instead of Gabés station.

The trains which were to leave Tunis station at 4:20 p.m. towards Gabés station will be cancelled.

-From August 22: the service of the train departing from Sfax station, at 6:55 am towards Tunis station will be cancelled.
Thus, the train schedules will be as follows:
-From Tunis to Sfax: services at 5:45 am, 9:20 am, 1:05 pm, 6 pm and 9:45 pm.
-From Sfax to Tunis: at 5 a.m., at 1:05 a.m., at 2:15 a.m., at 1:25 p.m. and 5:25 p.m.
