Tunisia-Strike by STEG agents: Electricity will be cut according to Monji Khlifa [Video]

On the sidelines of the 2nd day of the strike, STEG agents assembled today in front of the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior to convey their fed up with the absence of a favourable reaction from the authorities concerned. Indeed, the protesters demand the payment of economy and management bonuses as well as the advancement of working conditions and the execution of the agreements that have been concluded with the State. The latter menaced to escalate calling for the electricity to be cut off until their demands were met. “The State is incapable to requisition 14,000 agents to carry out our tasks, so the electricity will be cut off,” declared the deputy secretary-general of the Federation of STEG agents Mongi Khalifa.
