Tunisian open water swimmer Néjib Belhadi has been designated MAN of the Year 2020 by the World Association of Open Water Swimming (WOWSA). The WOWSA Awards are an annual selection of the most extraordinary individuals, performances and offerings in the global open water swimming community from the year 2020. The 2020 WOWSA Awards champions were chosen by a global online poll.
Mr Belhadi prominently toured the island of Djerba over a distance of 155 km.
As a reminder, he scored a record time of 47 hour and 50-minutes. On the other hand, our champion launched the “Ouma” initiative.
