As part of the support to Tunisia in its battle against the Coronavirus, Switzerland dispatched, on July 16, 2021, medical aid worth approximately one million dinars. The donation was brought to Tunis-Carthage airport by a Swiss armed forces plane. It involves, among others, fifty oxygen concentrators with a capacity of five litres, seven oxygen concentrators with a capacity of ten litres and fifteen multipurpose respirators.
The Swiss Ambassador to Tunisia, Étienne Thévoz, the Director for Cooperation Willi Graf, the Ministry of Health represented by Hédi Oueslati and the President of the National Council of the Tunisian Medical Order Ridha Dhaoui took part in the reception of aids.
In addition, the embassy indicated that the aid given to Tunisia as part of the fight against the Coronavirus, since 2020, represents almost thirty million dinars.
