Tunisia – Tahya Tounes calls to challenge the constitutionality of deal with Qatari fund

Tahya Tounes’s parliamentary bloc on Thursday denounced the violence committed against PDL leader Abir Moussi. It accused the first vice president of the parliament, Samira Chaouachi, of collusion with Ennahdha, insofar as, despite the gravity of the acts of violence, she declined to adjourn the meeting and absolutely insisted on proceeding to enable Islamists and their allies to vote at their ease, the bill establishing the Qatari cooperation fund.
A proposal long declined by the opposition, because it is considered to introduce a sort of colonization of the country. Tahya Tounes’s bloc calls on all opposition parties to join hands and coordinate their actions in order to challenge the constitutionality of this passed law, for both formal and procedural flaws.
