Tunisia-Tahya Tounes will not join the government

Tayha Tounes asserted its unwavering position by declaring that they will not join Prime minster Designate Habib Jemli ‘s government, stated Qalb Tounes’ executive board member Mehdi Abdeljawad.

He pointed out that his party played a solid part by attempting to promote convergence of views among political actors through finding a common consensus that would place the interest of Tunisia above all, indicating that the new government did not adhere to the required terms.

The party took part in the deliberation to surmount the hurdle of forming the government and find a  consensus that will enable to sustain conditions to ensure the government formation, added Abdeljawad.

He warned that obstructions to form the government will downshift to a political crisis with a profound impact on Citizens daily life.
