Tunisia-Tarek Chérif will not present candidacy for Conect presidency

In a statement to Mosaique FM, the president of the Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (Conect) revealed that he will not present his candidacy for a new mandate  “I will continue to operate at the confederation from another position. ”, affirms Tarek Chérif at the same time.

As a reminder, Tarek Chérif is the founder of Conect in 2021. Born August 7, 1955, in Sfax, Tarek Cherif is a Tunisian businessman. He is the chief of the Tunisian group Alliance. He holds a master’s degree in law from Paris-Sud University. He has a degree in management from the Paris Higher Institute of Management and in international politics from the Institute of Advanced International Studies.

Conect will hold its third national congress on November 10, 2023, in Tunis. This date was fixed by its board of directors during its meeting dedicated, on June 24, 2023 in Sfax, to the monitoring of national, regional and sectoral activities.

The second CONECT congress was organized on November 14, 2018, to elect its executive board composed of 25 members.
