Tunisia-Tarek Fetiti among those absent from the remote plenary session scheduled for today

The second vice-president of the House of People’s Representatives Tarek Fetiti talked about the call launched by the house speaker  Rached Ghannouchi relating to the organization of a plenary session to mark the 8th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution.

Fetiti stated he was not invited or consulted about this, adding that he obtained the program for the plenary session through a colleague. He confirmed that the framework in which this session takes place is not official. “I am not involved by this session. The organizer of this event should have involved all the people involved, broadened the consultations and invited the presidents of the blocs to take part in the session,” he said, remembering his rejection in the face of the autocratic regime established in the country.
