Tunisia-Tarek Ftiti denounces having coordinated with Al Jazeera to broadcast the plenary session [Audio]

Tarek Ftiti told Tunisie Numérique that this scenario (the dissolution of Parliament) is far better than the monopolization of all powers in the hands of a single individual without having an idea where the country is heading. Remarking on the words of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied relating to the exclusion of all those who partook in the planning of the coup d’etat of the next elections, he asserted that he had no worries about this subject.
Ftiti considered that the holding of this plenary session is a historic occasion that history will remember, adding that the problem today lies in the necessity to find a solution to the deadlock in which the country has found itself.
“The President of the Republic is still not aware of the perils to which we are exposed,” he said. He also slammed having coordinated with the Al Jazeera channel to broadcast the proceedings of the plenary session live, stating that he never made a statement to foreign media.
