Tunisia-Tarek Hadded to Hichem Mechichi: We are not afraid!

The spokesperson for El Kamour sit-in, Tarek Hadded replied in a published to the speech of the head of government Hichem Mechichi who had assured that the state will use force in order to ensure the resumption of production from oil sites.

Tarek Hadded said the El Kamour protesters are not afraid of these threats and have resisted for four years, saying nothing and no one will back them off until their demands are met. “We are not going to give up. We stand behind the El Kamour Accord in every detail. The words of the head of government will not deter us. We resisted for four years and we will continue, ”he said.

He added that the government is trying to blackmail the inhabitants of Tataouine and sow discord. “Drop the talk of force, you’re not up to it. The valve does not belong to you, it belongs to the people. Do not arouse the anger of the inhabitants of Tataouine, we will be there ”.
