Tunisia – Tataouine: Opening of investigation following attempted self-immolation

The spokesperson for the Tataouine court of first instance, Nidhal Labaïed, confirmed to the press on Wednesday that an inquiry has been launched into the circumstances of the attempted suicide by the self-immolation of a young man in one of the delegations ofTataouine. The judicial police team is committed to investigating to find the circumstances of the incident.

He added that the young man suffered second-degree burns and was admitted to a health facility to receive required treatment while investigations continued.
