Tunisia-Tataouine: Regional hospital procures new anaesthesia ventilators

Tataouine local hospital of Tataouine acquired four new four-generation anaesthesia ventilators. The devices, designed for the COVID-19 unit within the hospital, were provided as part of the corporate social responsibility programme of oil companies, a hospital source stated.

The same source affirmed that task on the development of a new COVID-19 unit is proceeding. This scheme is being started at the initiative of the association “Projects in Tataouine” in partnership with civil society with funds of 455 thousand dinars. In addition, the Tataouine local council has designated 500,000 dinars to provide this service, which will comprise an area of 400 metres and should be operational in three to four weeks, according to the same source.
