On Monday evening, June 10, 2024, a young man from Tataouine passed away from severe burns he sustained as a result of a suicide attempt. He had been moved a few days ago to Tunis for treatment.
Spokesman for the Court of First Instance in Tataouine, Nidal Labaidh, confirmed to Mosaique FM that an inquiry had been launched into the circumstances of the young man’s attempt to commit suicide by burning himself, and the judicial police team pledged to investigate to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
